Peter Tygesen is representing Networking Consultants in Southern Africa from his base in Zimbabwe. He has 25 years’ work experience in mainly vulnerable and post-recovery states, especially assessing needs and impact of local civil society and its interplay with governance structures.Media development and communication, rural development, food security and early recovery have been at the heart of a wide variety of assignments.

Peter Tygesen has particularly strong insight in Southern and Central African societies, and has authored several books and films on developmental and historical issues in the region.
